She is the CEO of Naturals’ Republic® Inc, a luxury personal care brand, and Founder of CaribbeanCandy® Professional Sugaring, a manufacturer and supplier of body sugaring products.

Her San Francisco Bay Area salon has been named “Best in the Bay” East of the Bridge by SF Magazine and “Best Sugaring Salon” by Oakland Magazine and is undoubtedly a client favorite of both Bay Area residents and visitors alike. 

During its inception stages, Rasheedah envisioned CaribbeanCandy® to be more than just the manufacturer and supplier of sugar paste, or even simply an educational resource. She envisioned it to be a catalyst that amplifies the careers of other tenacious beauty professionals. Through the launch of the CaribbeanCandy® Professional Body Sugaring Academy in Oakland, CA, and the recent addition of the CaribbeanCandy Suites, she offers individual esthetic locations, training/certification, employment opportunities, and business coaching to the community. 

Her philanthropic deeds in the form of tuition matches and scholarships to her Sugaring Academy also provide an opportunity to give back, which remains a core component of her business model. 

Both of her brands, CaribbeanCandy® Professional Sugaring and Naturals’Republic®, can be found in treatment rooms across the country, and distributed on select Caribbean islands.

Today, Rasheedah travels throughout the U.S. and Internationally along with her team of certified trainers to facilitate hands-on learning for Day Spas, Salons, Cosmetology Schools, and licensed beauty professionals who wish to learn the art of body sugaring.

I’m Dannie, the face behind Silky Smooth Sugaring and our sister salon, Bend Body Sugaring, located in Beautiful Bend, Oregon.

While this might be our first time connecting, we’ve been part of this industry for quite some time. I am the mother of a beautiful, sassy daughter and our Saint Bernadoodle Blanche!

I have always dreamed of creating my own brand of sugaring pastes and post-hair removal products for clients with sensitive skin. After many failed attempts and burnt pots and pans, I finally found the perfect recipe for my signature sugaring pastes and products.

I wanted to share my environmentally friendly organic products with clients and other Aestheticians. I started teaching the ancient technique of Body Sugaring. Still, the most important thing I wanted to share was how vital inclusivity is when providing services to clients, especially intimate hair removal services. Some clients have trauma, especially with certain areas of the body. It is my mission to make sure all folks feel welcomed and safe. I am a trauma survivor myself whose sole purpose is to help clients feel welcome, safe, and beautiful.

When you support my business, you’re supporting a mother who left a domestic violence relationship to provide a safe world for her daughter, A sexual assault survivor who strives to help other survivors.

With 23 years of experience in sugaring, Billie Jo has dedicated her career to perfecting the craft and sharing its benefits with others.
